Ibiza

Ibiza

Ibiza has a reputation of a party island but there is much more to Ibiza than nightclubs and mass tourism. The island rejoices a natural beauty, tranquil coves as well as many cultural activities. A part of the island known as “God’s finger” located in the Benirras Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and thus protected from further development. Of an utterly rustic beauty, the island is often the set of many films; all of these incredible sites are to be visited during your luxury charter vacation with Sunreef Yachts Charter. Ibiza is the closest to mainland Spain out of all the Balearic Islands. A 200 kilometer-long coastline offers fabulous mooring for your luxury charter yachts. Along with Formentera, the two islands comprise the Pine Islands offering an array of outdoor activities and attractions. Ibiza’s main town, Eivissa, is located in the south of the island. The two other towns are Santa Eularia des Riu, located in the east, and Sant Antoni de Portmany, located in the west and therefore known for magnificent sunsets.

Santa Eularia

Santa Eularia des Riu offers beauty, serenity, light and tradition of Balearic towns. The town offers many touristic sites including PUID de Missa, a magnificently beautiful site. The main church was constructed in the 16th century in the purpose to defend the island and constituted a perfect model for other buildings on the island. There are many churches to discover in Santa Eularia including Marede Deu Jesus, Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera and Charles de Peralta. Beautiful beaches in the vicinity offer nothing less than pristine white sands, outstanding views and clear waters.

San Antonio

San Antonio is widely celebrated for splendid sunsets as well as a bustling nightlife. During the busy summer months the town is visited by tourists, mainly British, and the marina fills up with luxury yachts. The harborside promenade is called the Passeig de ses Fonts, a boulevard constructed at the beginning of the 1990’s in order to improve the appearance of the town that you will be able to visit from aboard your luxury charter mega yacht, luxury charter catamaran, luxury charter sailing yacht or luxury charter powerboat. The island is home to many different species of plants, including palm trees and rubber plants. Numerous massive fountains light up at night illuminating this Balearic town. The busy main square is abundant with restaurants and cafes offering a breathtaking view of San Antonio.

Formentera

Formentera, an immaculate and intact island, is the smallest of the four main Balearic islands. Located just south of Ibiza, the island is a popular destination for charter guests who visit these lands to bathe in blue crystal waters, benefit from the sun and dine in one of the beachfront succulent restaurants, the most famous being Juan y Andrea. The island is only 19 kilometers long and is located 6 nautical miles south of the coast of Ibiza. Formentera’s main villages are Sant Francesc Xavier, Sant Ferran de Ses Roques, El Pilar de la Mola as well as de La Saiv. It is well celebrated for the many pristine white sandy beaches.
