7 Day Yachting Holiday in the Balearic Islands

Day 1: Mallorca

Start your adventure in Palma, the capital of Mallorca offering direct and connecting flights to many worldwide destinations. Once you get there, spare some time to visit La Seu, a majestic Gothic cathedral built over a mosque. Although the construction was commissioned in 1229, it was completed centuries later in 1601. The Old City in Palma is a great maze of colorful facades and paved streets dating back to the Arab era. Head over to the four Caves del Drach (Dragon Caves) on the island’s eastern shores where each visit ends with a short classical performance by four musicians on a boat.
Day 2: Cabrera

In the morning, a short cruise to the tiny uninhabited island of Cabrera featuring only one anchorage and requiring a permit for all visits ashore. A restricted cruising destination, Cabrera is a national park home to protected species of dolphins and sea snails that are rare in other parts of the Balearic region. The islet features a 14th century castle and museum as well as gift shop. Dinner onboard and overnight crossing.
Day 3: Formentera

After an overnight crossing to Formentera, wake up on the smallest of the four main Balearic Islands. Because it remains largely untouched, some people like to call it “the last paradise in the Med”. Formentera is well reputed to have some of the best beaches on the entire continent. White and pristine, they attract nature lovers from all over while exploring the island is easily with the multitude of biking and hiking trails. Es Pujols, the island’s only tourist resort, remains intimate compared to a standard tourist destination. Enjoy fish soup and grilled seafood for dinner and stroll around the island before getting back onboard.
Day 4: Ibiza

Day 6: Portals Nous

Once a fishing village, it has now developed into a luxurious destination featuring seafront restaurants and cafes as well an eclectic mix of boutiques and landmarks to visit. With a wide spectrum of activities in the marina and outside, Puerto Portals has something for every taste and will appeal even to the most discerning charter guests.
Day 7: Palma

Today on the last day of your yachting holiday in the Balearics, your luxury charter catamaran, elegant mega yacht, charter sailing boat or high-performance motor yacht will make her way back to where the cruise started in Palma. If you did not have enough time to visit it when you arrived and if you can afford some time in town before departing home, stroll around Palma or stay for lunch or dinner.
